Hello Everyone:
This month's meeting is all about getting us off to great start for our summer observing!!!
Don Colton will be using his incredible astronomy software along with Dave Bernson's knowledgeable and insightful commentary on interesting deep-sky objects to look at that you may not know about.
Mike Murray will go into more detail about the Astronomical League's observing programs that you can use to set goals for your own personal observing.
The meeting will be at the Salt Lake County Government Center located at 2001 S. State Street. Please see the SLAS website for more specifics.
Also, see the SLAS website at http://www.slas.us for specific information about the Memorial Day Weekend star party at Great Basin National Park.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you Tuesday evening the 23rd of May.
Lowell Lyon
