KSL has had quite a few games lately. I emailed the guy with the nice 6 or 8 games for sale about the Gyruss, but never heard back. Just wondering if there have been any local scores lately. I know Jeff R has picked up a Star Wars and a Spy Hunter, but I don't think they were from around here. -- Sean McLachlan
I've had terrible luck on the local level lately. I had to pick that Spy Hunter up in Las Vegas (we were camping in Southern Utah anyway), and I finally broke down and shipped the Star Wars in. I noticed Sam is listing the games that he originally wasn't interested in selling. He's a good guy, but I think he might want a big higher price per cab than I'm willing to pay for anything. He had an APB that I might call him about, unless one of you guys already nabbed it. Did anybody call that listing in Lehi and find out what games the guy has to offer? Looks like Sam is the guy in Riverton who is selling his collection. He wants high book plus for them, but they look nice. I emailed him about the gyruss, and I'm waiting for him to realize he's not going to get any takers. Here is the link to the ksl ad. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=218&ad=3056395&cat=&lpid=1 -- Sean McLachlan Pete Ashdown wrote:

Sean, looks like you owe me money for that Tron. :-) Sean McLachlan wrote:

Yeah, I could have bought yours 3 times for what he wants. I imagine you still have it. Since I started the mini project, I'm out of the market for a full size. The 13" monitor I'm bidding on will go into the mini, if I get it. -- Sean McLachlan Pete Ashdown wrote:

I went out when Sam was selling an APB, Rastan, and MKII. I wanted the APB, but it was pretty dirty. My boss wanted the Rastan and my other boss wanted the MKII (dynamo cab) to use for a MAME. The Rastan wouldn't even play blind, but he still wanted $400 for it. The MKII had some serious monitor issues, and he wanted $500. For the APB he wanted $600, but again, it wasn't in top shape. About a month later they were all re-listed with about $100 off each, but I doubt they sold at those prices either. If anybody contacts him, would you mind asking if he still has the APB? Ditto. Who is Sam? I'm not entirely sure (maybe others can clarify) but Sam is probably aka "Sammy" from Weber Music with the warehouse at the Freeport center. In fact Pete I think it was your description of Sammy on RGVAC (without using his name) that initially had me contact you about my first tour of your collection back in 2001. I remember our experiences with Sammy being very similar. As one of the few people that actually got in there back in the late 1990's I remember there being at least a few other things that interested me (including a Tempest Cocktail). Has anyone else been there recently?
I might be interested in that APB, Pete. Don't sweat the last transaction. Jason King hooked me up with an Asteroids right at that same time, so the hunt was short in the end. On Thu, Apr 17, 2008 at 1:18 PM, Bert Ankrom <BEAnkrom@traskbritt.com> wrote:

After looking at that Lehi ad, I'm pretty sure that I've been to that warehouse. I think it's probably Lamar's. The only thing I regret leaving behind was a dedicated Bubble Bobble. Sean McLachlan wrote:
