I like the built-in old TV. It needs chairs suspended off the ground coming out of the two front corners, though. I like the built-in old TV.
From the styles of the clothing, I suspect the TV was not that old at the time; I imagine it was "his" TV, given to him for the Nintendo when the family room got one with a remote and a F-connector on the back instead of the 300-ohm twinlead. I like the routed channels on the front for the cables. He's obviously (justly) proud of his creation...I wonder if it was a school project? -Chris

Good point. I wondered about the date of the photo based on the clothing of the kid and the lighting of the photo -- "The Direct3D Graphics Pipeline" -- DirectX 9 draft available for download <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com/the-direct3d-graphics-pipeline/> Legalize Adulthood! <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com>

I'm guessing 1988. Wiki says the NES Advantage was released in '87, so it wasn't any earlier than that. And "Nevermind" was release late '91, which destroyed the market for any clothing that wasn't flannel based. So there are your bookend dates :-)

1987-1988 would fit with the colors as well, including the socks. I'd hate for a proud moment of my life to be memorialized in those shorts. -Chris
