I feel less than worthy. What game is it? Admittedly the music clues make it a lot more playable. Watching "the masters" play robotron is more enjoyable to me -- because it truly is reflexes. And having seen them in action -- when I worked at Williams and also watching Jeff (Peters) play. Scary.. Kurt

I'd like to know that myself, it looks pretty fun. Some sort of Beatmania I suspect.
ok, I'M impressed :) how many little espressos did this guy have before playing? what happens when he comes down? At any rate, I can always appreciate watching someone play who has 'mastered' a game....quite amazing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pete Ashdown" <pashdown@xmission.com> To: <utvgg@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, June 30, 2003 2:38 PM Subject: Re: [UtVgG] So you think you're good at video games

It is very impressive; I could not do it, and I don't think I ever could. The one "however" is that this sort of game underlines my complaint with most modern (>1989) games...that the strategy of fun or interesting gameplay has been replaced with "how fast can you push buttons/move joysticks". All the "scrolling fighter" genre seems to suffer from this. They look complicated until you try one, but once I did I realized it was not difficult at all. Not even challenging. Just a case of joystick coordination. -Chris
