Anybody have any of the following marquees they'd like to part with? Pepper II - exidy Spectar - exidy Targ - exidy Actually, if you've got a list of marquees you're thinking about getting rid of care to send it to me? Thanks! Kurt kmahan@xmission.com
Anyone have a JOUST cabinet they can let go? Can be a bad conversion....side graphics don't matter... All that matters is that the wood and structure of the cabinet is intact. thanks, jeff
First off, a big thank you to Pete for helping me load the games onto my trailer. Those Lethal Enforcers are heavy!! And the red Nintendo should be a nice looking DK in a week or two. After Pete's, I went down and finally picked up the Race Drivin' I made a deal on *last fall*. Man, I can be slow sometimes. Chris Strong: come to my house and we'll play it! You are the only other Race/Hard Drivin' fan I know. :) While at the Op's place, I asked if he had a DK marquee or bezel, he said I could scrounge through his stuff, pick out what I wanted and he'd make me a deal. I didn't have time to go through the bezels, but I did get some marquee's. I ended up with: Ack-Ack (never heard of it but I grabbed it anyway, no manufacturer, can't find reference to it on the net, must be a bootleg of something), Astro Fighter, 2 Sinistars, NOS St. Dragon (Jaleco. Whoopee.), Defender, Root Beer Tapper, DK, Frogger, Stratovox (hammered :( ), and Astro Blaster. Must have been Sega day or something. And all but the Stratovox are in good to great shape. And as a bonus, I found a Capcom "Forgotten Worlds" CP in nice shape, complete with Jamma harness and these funky rotary knobs that you can also push like a button. I grabbed that too. Anybody need it? So I'm a pretty happy guy. I think the marquee's are going to make some great decoration in the family/game room. If I ever finish it, that is. Sean
Last night I got all the DK guts swapped into the RadarScope cab, and it looks really cool. Plays great too. A huge thank you to everyone who helped me get this project completed. I have a spare Sanyo monitor, but the convergence is wayyyyyyy off. If I flex the yoke I can move the colors around but they aren't right. I know I need to loosen the yoke up and do a color convergence, but there is no test screen option in any of the Nintendo compatible boards I have. I could try to make a JAMMA > Nintendo harness so I could plug in my trusty SFII board and use it's test screens, but the colors would be inverted and I don't know if I could do a decent job that way. Does anyone know of a way I can get this monitor back into fighting shape? I'm thinking I may call Struve or Mountain Coin and see what they would charge me, but I have done all my own tech so far, and I hate to break a perfect record.
