Thanks to jeff for keeping track of it all. The auction was a little disappointing because of the lack of "collectibles." They did have one Defender in good shape. Supposedly there was another semi load of games that was supposed to show up but it never did. As for the Bloxeed -- not much left after all the vultures stripped EVERYTHING out of the cab. The cab itself was broken in the bottom - it had clearly taken a really hard drop sometime.. So it was broken down and tossed into the dumpster. Since jeff was able to type the list in I'm guessing that means his hands weren't too badly damaged. I've gotta believe at least some of the other games that were sold also became firewood. Why? Because we watched how people were loading them into their trucks. The guy that had the two uprights standing up in his truck (1942 and something else) and had them secured with bungy cords was interesting. A decent set of straps doesn't cost much. And if they insure that you get your game home in one piece, well, they pay for themselves.. Hopefully everybody had fun. Kurt
Ok, here's the results of the AUCTION today. Unfortunately for all that attended, there were only a few good items and the rest were old conversions :( So, here's the list with selling prices attached.
Although it was definitely worth the day spent to watch the auction guys drop many a game as they unloaded them off the semi :) Just missed getting a pic of one of the games falling...
Of course the best 'find' what Kurt's BLOXEED, which we completely stripped on site and threw what was left over, before years of neglect, painting and massive abuse, what was once a 'Rally X' cabinet in the nearby dumpster...the passer-bys were quite amused :)
