Thanks to a case of the shingles, I'm in town. So if you're still planning on lunch Thursday I'll be there. A friend has been talking about trying to organize a game museum/library for a while now. This idea appeals to me because I'm just about to reach the breaking point here. I'd like to either donate my games to an organization that would have the time to care and feed them, or send the herd to ebay. If any of you are interested in coming to a preliminary organizing meeting, he's having one on the 18th. Drop a note to me and I'll pass your email on to him.
I'm interested :) Could be cool to see someone/place organized to do this full time. I also have items that are beyond my care. Please forward the details of the meeting. jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pete Ashdown" <pashdown@xmission.com> To: <utvgg@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, April 12, 2004 11:30 AM Subject: [UtVgG] Game museum

Yes but for videogames, and hopefully something that is independently run and not out of someone's house/business. I'd like to see an organization that not only preserves and maintains the arcade video games, but collects and indexes console & computer games.
So a non profit? ;) Alas, this makes me wish I lived in Utah. Let me know if ya'll decide to go forward with this, I'd like to see how it turns out. On Tue, 13 Apr 2004, Pete Ashdown wrote:
