I'm addicted, and I've bid on a game thru e-bay. Since the seller is listing everything (warts and all) I'm hopeful. Anyways, since I'm such a newbie at this, I was wondering if any of you have any sagely wisdom on what is the best/cheapest way to get the equipment shipped?
The best one I've used is Danzas AEI. They'll setup an account for you with little hassle and pallet and wrap the game on pickup. If possible get the shipper to wrap the game in cardboard, but otherwise, Danzas does a fair job. Do NOT use Roadway. They have recently changed their class on arcade games and you will pay through the nose to get it here.
I've recently had great results with North American Van Lines. You don't need a crate and they will ship it insured. They use a padded van and blanket wrap the game as well as deliver directly to your destination (no terminal crap.) Oh, they pick up at your house as well (unlike BAX Global). Rates for a video game seem to vary from $200 to $375 (this was to downtown Manhattan...the most expensive route, I think.) Hope it helps. jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pete Ashdown" <pashdown@xmission.com> To: <utvgg@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, February 05, 2004 9:16 AM Subject: [UtVgG] Re: Game shipping

Cool, thanks! And thanks to everyone else who e-mailed me. A newbie arcade addict (that would be me) really appreciates the seasoned help ;) On Thu, 5 Feb 2004, Jeff Peters wrote:
