I've been following this thread over at AtariAge re: the 2700, if you are a junky for Atari corporate culture and stories it's a pretty neat read. http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=131169 -----Original Message----- From: utvgg-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utvgg-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Christopher B Strong Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2008 4:39 PM To: Trevor Holyoak; UtVgG Subject: Re: [UtVgG] Atari 2700 on ebay Trevor Holyoak wrote:
Wow, that's the sort of thing I've had dreams about finding at DI. :)
Well, you'll never find a 2700 at DI. You might have found one at WeirdStuff in 1985 or the late 1990s..
I'm guessing 10 years go this stuff would have gone for even more.
Ten years ago? No. The peak was probably 2005 or so. I remember in 1998, thinking there was no way I would pay $25-$35 for a lab cartridge. That's true, now! You'll almost never see one under $100. -Chris _______________________________________________ UtVgG mailing list UtVgG@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utvgg
