I went just before the police shut it down. They were handing out price lists and everything had prices listed except the "USED ARCADE GAMES" it said prices were "mixed". That whole area of Redwood Road was a madhouse on Friday. All the parking in the area was gone, traffic was backed up on Redwood Road form 3900 (where the sale was) to 4500 South. The company dong the selling apparently didn't have the proper licenses and they were shut down. The sale is supposed to be changing venues into South Salt Lake today, but I'm not sure where. I think I heard it was going to be around 3900 South State, but I'm not sure. I heard on the news that there were people lined up at 2:30 this morning to get tickets. When I went on Friday I got there at 9:15 and they had already given all the ticket out for the whole day in the first 15 minutes (tickets are apparently handed out at 9:00 am) with a set time to come back.
Kurt Mahan <kmahan@xmission.com> 03/03/02 12:58PM >>> There was some email that went out to employees saying that some stuff wasn't for sale -- and on that list was "video games" and "pool tables".
So my guess is that they aren't for sale -- but who knows.. Kurt

I was watching fox news last night, and they had a story on the selling of Olympic stuff, couches and chairs mostly, but in the background the had a bunch of vids, most new but there was a Spy Hunter in there. The auction starts Friday at 10:00 am at 4510 S. (I think) redwood road. It is definitely on the 4500 block of redwood. I am going snowmobiling, so I can't check it out, but maybe some of you can. Good luck. I hope that those machines weren't placed by an op, and this is all a waste of time.
Did anyone go? I just got back in town this morning.
