I was planning to line the walls of my future arcade with some of my mine artifacts (including a ladder from a now-closed gold mine) and then get a custom "gold mine" sign made.

Not going with any "mine" theme over here. I just like the name, it seems to work for me on a couple different levels. Your idea sounds pretty cool though.

As I recall, "Gold Mine" arcades were part of "Nickels And Dimes" chain, along with Tilt and a couple other games. There has to be a photo of the Gold Mine sign somewhere.
