Did anybody hear about my Spy Hunter story? I picked the thing up in Las Vegas and noticed that it had stickers from a beauty supply place in Bountiful (Classy Chassis Beauty Supply) on the sideart. Initially I thought, "huh, there must be a chain of those things in the West." Anyway, after cleaning it up and playing it, I decided to Google "Classis Chassy Beauty Supply" and found that there's only one! Well, I figure that this was the very same Spy Hunter that used to be in the little Fred Meyer arcade just half a mile from Classy Chassis that I used to play every Saturday growing up. I can't be 100% certain that it's the same machine, but the stickers really solidify the chances. Now I'm more in love with the machine than I probably should be...especially given the monitor sync issues it's tormenting me with. There is a local place that deals in new tubes for obscure old monitors, I was even able to find a new tube for the Star trek. I can't remember the name of the place but it is located on 900 West and about 2900 South on the west side of the street. Where did you get the Tempest cocktail Weber music had one years ago, maybe it's the same one?
Sounds like Ballard Supply. I'll go down and see what they can scrounge up. I got the cocktail from a guy who bought out a storage unit and this was in it. I think David Young got the nice Tempest from Weber. He had a very nice one a bit ago, anyway.
