The write-ups that I have read all say to lay the CPO on the CP, then use an exacto knife to cut the holes. The buttons and the joystick dust disc will cover the edges of the cut anyway, so even a marginally crappy cut should look just fine once the CP is assembled. --Sean McLachlan -----Original Message----- From: utvgg-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utvgg-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Blaine S Gardner Sent: Thursday, March 17, 2011 5:37 PM To: utvgg@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [UtVgG] cutting holes in CPOs Greenlee hole punches work great with sheet metal, I'm not sure how they'd work with plastic. Does anyone know the proper method to punch holes in CPOs? Meaning that the control panel already has a hole. I know one can use a knife, but my skill does not appear to be high enough to do it without making it look terrible.
There has to be some sort of punch that the folks who make the reproductions use.
