I know its heresy, but they do have their purpose. I've considered building a MAME cabinet forever, but its had low priority on the project list. If anyone else is interested in pooling resources to build together, let me know what you're thinking. Anyone have a TMS5220-NL chip?

I have been trying to fix the speech in my Star Wars, and am down to the "swap components randomly" stage. OK, it's only pseudo-random, it is the main speech synth chip. They were used on Star Wars, Paperboy and 720 according to the most high oracle (google). Clay has a TMS5220-CNL on multigame.com listed as being the part for Star Wars, so I guess one of those would work too. Gauntlet used a TMS5220-CNL, dunno what the C designation means.
