Reminder of planets gathering
Just a reminder that Mercury, Venus and Jupiter are currently coming together in our skies. They will be at their closest tomorrow (Sunday) evening. I've been watching them the past few evenings and have been surprised at just how quick they are closing on one another. Here's NASA's take: http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2013/10may_sunsettriang... patrick
Patrick, We have had a good time at the last two school star parties looking at the three planets. 73 Sent from my iPad On May 25, 2013, at 6:36 PM, "Patrick Wiggins" <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> wrote:

Just saw all four planets in the FOV of my 10x50s. I don't think I've ever seen that many before. Here's hoping the Clear Sky Clock for SPOC is wrong as it's showing clouds for this time tomorrow when the planets will appear closest. patrick
Patrick, I the same in my 15X70's. I am assuming that your fourth planet is our resident terra firma. Thanks Rodger C.
