I spotted a couple of high altitude sunspots today. I have not seen any since 7/31/08. This is not to say that there were none just that I did not see them. My viewing was sporadic. There actually have been small, regular groups of sunspots every once in a while. I saw some last week during a rare sunny afternoon- maybe the same ones you saw. Also, as Patrick noted last week, prominence activity seems to be on the rise. Springtime in Utah means everyone's viewing will be sporadic, unfortunately. Thanks, Gary!
