Observer's Handbooks -SLAS Order-
Chuck, I am a member of the RASC and I got my Observer's Handbook last Saturday and as always, it is something I really look forward to. I am in the process of going through it and planning some outings for 2014 for some events. Calendar is always well worth having but it is the Handbook I really enjoy (though the membership offers quite a bit that I enjoy as well).
I love the Handbook, Jay. I've been buying it for about 40 years now. An incredible wealth of information right at your fingertips. For some reason I never got attached to the calendar, but the Handbook should be considered de rigueur. On Wed, Nov 6, 2013 at 5:20 PM, Jay Eads <jayleads@gmail.com> wrote:

My 2014 Observer's Handbook is my 50th and will probably be my last. There was a time not that long ago when I used the OH frequently but lately most everything I used to use the OH for is on my iPhone/Pad. Oft times with greater accuracy (like getting getting a planet's RA/Dec for today as opposed to just the 1st, 15th and end of the month offered in OH and other paper sources). patrick BTW Chuck, if you (or anyone else) want your copies before this month's SLAS general meeting I could bring them to next week's SLAS board meeting for you to pick up there. I will wait until the general meeting, but thanks for the offer, Patrick. On Wed, Nov 6, 2013 at 10:44 PM, Wiggins Patrick <paw@getbeehive.net> wrote:
