I just came across a 2 box set of 20 CDs containing the entire Palomar Sky Survey. I've not used them in a long time because the data are now available online. And I don't know if they will even work with today's computers (they date back to 1996). Here's some info: http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/1996/20/text/ If anyone is interested in acquiring the set let me know and we'll discuss options. Cheers, patrick
The link below refers to the initial release of CDs covering the northern sky. A later release covered the southern sky. Additional details: http://www.stargazing.net/astropc/oldversion/get_dss.html On 28 Nov 2013, at 02:30, Wiggins Patrick wrote:

You can load them on your hard drive and they will work seamlessly with TheSky6 or Megastar. -----Original Message----- From: utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Wiggins Patrick Sent: Thursday, November 28, 2013 2:30 AM To: utah astronomy listserve utah astronomy Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Palomar Sky Survey on CD I just came across a 2 box set of 20 CDs containing the entire Palomar Sky Survey. Hi Don, I think that's why I bought the set (to work with TheSky) but then the internet got faster and easier to use and I found myself looking up specific images there instead. patrick On 28 Nov 2013, at 12:22, Don J. Colton wrote:
