Anyone have suggestions for an observing spot near St. George (besides the parks)?
Get on Navajo Dr. in Bloomington and head out to the desert west of St. George. It’s not too bad and the road is pretty good. You can usually find a good spot that’s fairly dark and it’s close to my house if you get into trouble. Dave On Sep 4, 2011, at 1:15 PM, Chrismo wrote:

I am going to be staying at the Worldmark resort on Plantation Dr. 2 weeks from today. My niece is visiting from Cincinnati, and I promised to take her to Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce. We will be leaving Wednesday to come back to SLC, so I'm looking forward to 1 or 2 nights out with the telescope. On Sun, Sep 4, 2011 at 1:42 PM, Dave Gary <davegary@me.com> wrote:

My home address is 1476 Geronimo Rd., just off Navaho. If you Google it you will see where I live. When do you plan on being in St. George? Dave Sent from my iPod On Sep 4, 2011, at 13:33, Chrismo <djchrismo@gmail.com> wrote:
