Here are six objects you should enjoy: NGC 2362 CMa. It's a nice open cluster with tau CMa as the central star. NGC 2169 Ori This is the 37 cluster. It proves that te answer is 37 and not 42. It is written in the stars. M15 Peg This globular is compact, but interestingly bright towards the center. M92 Her Often overlooked because of its bright neighbor to the south. M22 Sag A really nice globular. Big, bright. NGC 6207 Her This edge-on galaxy is in the same wide field as M13, or just out of the field under higher magnification. Here are a couple of my favorites M57 - The Ring Nebula. This is one of the first object I observed from a telescope 16 years ago when a couple of SLAS members were at Wasatch State Park while I was camping there. NGC 6543 - The Cat's eye nebula. Is bright enough for almost everyone to see the disk shape and with averted vision, the central star. This one actually looks like a really big Uranus or Neptune so it is more understandable as to why they are called planetary nebulae. Epsilon Bootis - A double star that has a type M red dwarf star as part of it. Brent, feel free to correct me if I got anything wrong on that last one. It is actually a K0 II star, close to M class. It is larger than the sun and about 500 times more luminous. Its color temperature is about 4500 K. It looks more red because its companion is type A2 V whose color temperature is around 8500 K. The bluish nature of the companion makes it look more red. None of that diminishes its beauty.
