Sorry Joe (and no offense please, but) I was pretty disappointed in your article. I felt you gave way too much press to Buttars and the ID side and too little and rather muddled coverage of the other. I also didn't find a single quote from anyone on this list (did I miss it?). And to take exception to one point -- since when is Neanderthal considered "fully human"? Modern DNA has proven otherwise; yes we had a common ancestor, but we did not descend from them (which you did point out -- it just seemed contradictory). And I've yet to hear from ANYONE what on earth these people think they can occupy an entire semester of science class actually teaching on the subject of ID. I still say the lecture will only last a few minutes, and then there's nothing more to discuss. On the other hand, it was a nice photo from Tyler. - "stirring the pot" Rich __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Hey Joe, what about those people who read the article and say "oh hey, I want to join that list!" I didn't see a link. ;) ('Course maybe we'd get some baddies on, too, you just never know.) Cyn Joe Bauman wrote:

Good point, Cyn. Next time I quote your wonderful discussion group I'll include a link, but this time everything was cut drastically because of severe space limitations. I hope anyone who's interested might search the Internet for the Utah astronomy discussion group. We have a pretty intelligent group discussing things and maybe those who can't get their noodling apparatus working that well, wouldn't be a great addition! Here's a thought -- perhaps a lack of a link in this article will keep singles trollers away ..... Joe
