Re: [Utah-astronomy] Lakeside Tonight or Rush Valley/Pit n Pole
Chuck, I'm a teacher. I've been off and I took a new assignment this year which means I am off for 3 weeks 4x a year and 6 weeks in the summer. In addition, I find IF conditions are good enough, I can go out when you can observe starting around 7:00 or 7:30p.m., observe til 11:30p.m. or 12:30a.m., be back home by 1:30a.m. and in bed asleep. That gives me 5 hours and I can get by on that and then take a nap on the next day. Being an educator has its issues, but it also has its benefits. I'm heading for Pit n Pole tomorrow (today) Tuesday night if anyone wants to meet me there. Humidity is low and it is looking rather good, some wind early then dying down. Lakeside is forecasted for cloudiness til later in the evening. On Mon, Aug 9, 2010 at 11:57 PM, Nate Jackson <myfuneralcar1972@yahoo.com>wrote:

I like to eat once in a while, buy gas, telescope stuff. They won't give it to me for nothing, so I have to work for my money. Bummer, I know, but we do what we have to do if we don't have a trust fund.
