Re: [Utah-astronomy] Wow!!! (SLAS Maui imaging session)
To help people interested in following-along or trying their own hand at assembling images into a final, I have uploaded the cleaned images in Photoshop format, converted from GIMP. I have no way to test and cannot warrant that GIMP exports will open in Photoshop. The files can be downloaded from url: http://fisherka.csolutionshosting.net/astronote/photos/processing/Faulkes/ps... The directory will be left up for one week before a disk space recovery deletion. Files are - 20100115_cleanedHa_bit8.psd 20100115_cleanedOIII_bit8.psd 201000115_cleanedblue_bit8.psd 201000115_cleanedgreen_bit8.psd 201000115_cleanedred_bit8.psd 201000115_cleanedstarsonly_bit8.psd 201000115_cleanedstarsonlyLayerAlpha_bit8.psd The corresponding jpgs of these images are in Utah Astro Gallery directory -> http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=2892 For those of you who do not own Photoshop, I am using the freeware Photoshop analogue GIMP, which takes a just a few minutes to download and install from: http://www.gimp.org/ Clear Skies - Kurt
Hi Kurt, Are you referring to cleaned versions of the raw, unreduced files JD posted this evening? patrick On 22 Jan 2010, at 23:23, Canopus56 wrote:
