Money in the Hole
Larry, I’m glad you got the wifi unit to work. Too bad neither of us are “rich beyond the dreams of avarice”..can’t remember where I heard that one…or we could just buy a nice observatory and have someone teach us how to run it. As it is, I’m doing the same as you. Buy a few things here and there, try to learn how to use them and not go crazy trying. For some reason there seems to be a very steep learning curve associated with all this astronomy stuff. My learning processor seems to fade with each passing day making life more difficult with all this image processing to be done. How to stack, how to drizzle, the list goes on and on. I need some kid around to show me how all this stuff actually works…sort of like when you try to hook all the components up on your new TV or sit staring at that brand new cell phone. Without the kid you’re watching the old TV in the bedroom and all those bells and whistles on the cell phone don’t mean much because you just open it to answer and close it when you’re done. Of course, I hate phones. Dave
