Guy, You could paint all the lights red as part of your dark sky program. That would be a sight to see. Debbie

Who you kidding. That's the same aerial photo the 'National Inquirer' has been passing off as an Iranian Nuclear Weapons plant. ;) Check out the berm surrounding the facility.
Patrick, take a picture of the facility at night. show us what it looks like from several locations including the bat cave. If you can, move in close and include some shots of the light fixtures and their apparent locations from any nearby cover. Maybe you could estimate the distance and potential wind hazzard to each light. You can do that on paper. This info could come in handy if we ever decide to enact a 'dark sky' program. Don't forget to paint your face. ;) Just kidding...

Bingo! I was actually thinking of using one of my paint ball guns to apply a little 'toner' to the lights. But I do have some paint balls that are red... unfortunately, paintballs would only work till the next rainy season. what about if we climb up every light post, and change the bulb for a nice christmas bulb. then there would be an accepable red. however, stringing the lights across the parking lot might be difficult. anyone know what the price on a 55,000' foot strand of non-twinklers is at walymart? (ps, i flew over the distribution center on my way back from LA last night. The lighting isn't too bad from 20,000', mainly parking lot lights in their typical blue-hue. but, that is the view from way up.) Cheers, James. diveboss@xmission.com wrote:
