Please excuse an off topic post but I wanted to let my fellow vets on the list know that Golden Corral will be providing free meals for vets tomorrow, Monday, 14 November from 1700 to 2100. Open to anyone who is currently serving or who has ever served in the U.S. Military. No ID required. Knowing there are more than a few vets on this list I'm wondering if y'all would care to meet up at the Golden Corral in Midvale (where SLAS has it's annual Solstice Festival) at 1900. Any interest? patrick
I'm in, if we can eat around 5:15, no later than 5:30. Of course, others could come later, but I w/need to leave by 6:20, or so, as I have the rocket club meeting that night. 73, lh On 11/13/2011 4:34 PM, Patrick Wiggins wrote:

Hi Larry, Looks like it's not going to work. I'm flying this afternoon and was going to be rushing to get back by 7. So you go chow down early and I'll take the late shift. Cheers, patrick On 13 Nov 2011, at 21:20, Larry Holmes wrote:

Only slipped for an hour or so but it was fun. It's always fun to watch the Sun set several times as I fly south and the Sun keeps popping out between mountain peaks. And seeing the Moon up there after dark is very impressive. (note the references to Sun and Moon to keep it on topic <g>). patrick
Anybody interested? I will not be going if no one else is there as UROC meets tonight & I need to be there. 73, lh On 11/13/2011 9:20 PM, Larry Holmes wrote:
