Hello All, I'm a new astronomer in Utah county. I've been interested in the sky since I was very young and just recently have jumped into the subject more deeply. Taking a class at school helped that process. My lovely wife purchased a new telescope for me for my birthday. It's my first one and I'm very happy with it. It's a meade DS-2114 reflecting telescope. I'm still learning how to use it and I'm just beginning to learn the sky. Hopefully by being on this list, I can pick up some of the jargon and learn some new things. I'm really new to all of this, so please be patient with me if I ask a lot of questions. Most of the posts within the last few days have been way over my head. If anyone has any tips for me, I'd love to hear them. Thanks, TJ
