I think that that pier might just be big enough. :-) Greg --- Patrick Wiggins <paw@trilobyte.net> wrote:

Hi Patrick, Does this mean that you are replacing the barrels full of sand? Larry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patrick Wiggins" <paw@trilobyte.net> To: "Astronomy in Utah" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2003 11:46 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] ???

But, have you ordered the ladder yet, or are you going to use rabar ffot hol;ds to the top of the pier and a linesman waist strap for observing?:)Jim Patrick Wiggins <paw@trilobyte.net> wrote:Larry Frisk wrote:

Yep. Spent the weekend breaking concrete and digging the footing. Picked up the rebar yesterday and hope to have the concrete poured by late next week. Actually it's so tall because my observatory is on the second floor. So the foundation goes down a meter and a half and the pier goes up 4 meters with a small extension to be added to that.
I'm adding pictures to one of my web pages. When it's a little further along I'll post the URL. Patrick :-)
