Re: [Utah-astronomy] Memorial Day
It would be wonderful if I could ever go to a restaurant with my wife and eat a plate of liver and onions. This delicious meal, high on my list of favorites, just revolts her so badly that I don't dare order it. -- Joe --- On Mon, 5/25/09, Chuck Hards <chuck.hards@gmail.com> wrote: From: Chuck Hards <chuck.hards@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Memorial Day To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Date: Monday, May 25, 2009, 1:54 PM The other day my wife was mentioning flowers on her parent's graves, then reconsidered and said "My dad would have probably preferred that I left a plate of liver and onions". _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php Visit the Wiki: http://www.utahastronomy.com

As I stepped out of the house at dusk last night for some fresh air, I was greeted by a slim, yet diametrically huge crescent moon, while what I'm assuming to be the space station blazed overhead, about as bright as I have ever seen it. Beautiful, just beautiful. The perfect punctuation on a relaxed holiday weekend.
