I had one of those when I was ferrying a cessna caravan from Kansas to China. Halfway over the Sea of Okhotsk on my way from Magadan to Khabarovsk at 10pm at night it occurred to me that if my engine failed, getting found would not happen, regardless of my gps locator, SPOT and survival suit.
