Kurt, I didn't thank you for all the info that you provided. As usual, you went way out of your way to help a fellow astronomer. I just wish that the weather had cooperated. It's now been about 15 years since the last fortuitous combination of moon phase and weather that allowed good Geminid observing from Utah. I don't mind the cold, but one can't dress for the clouds. Thanks, again. Don't feel bad, it was damp here on Maui too. As I would check thru the night, it just got more and more misty, then windy wet and finally rain showers by day break. I did manage to see a few blue-green shooters thru the holes in the clouds. I had planned on having 2 cameras record thru the night, but it didn't look right and the summit was not good at all, still no weather data or IR Cloud cam from there after last weeks storm. The word is that the AF station up there was on generator supply for a week and it caught fire, had a power surge and blew out the server on the top. We did have a few great rainbows though. Aloha Rob
