41 year old Brett Favre (pronounced Farv - those crazy French can't spell worth a darn) announced that he would retire from the NFL in the spring of 2008, only to have second thoughts and tried to rejoin the team that coming fall. Instead he ended up with the New York Jets for the 2008-09 season. He again "tried" to retire the following spring but then signed with the Minnesota Vikings. This past spring he again had thoughts of retiring because of an ankle injury but just can't keep away from the game.
