Hi all, I'm a member of the SBIG discussion group, which just had this posting. Obviously, people around the world are impressed with Patrick's comet pic. -- Joe --- On Fri, 10/1/10, Rogelio Bernal Andreo <rba@deepskycolors.com> wrote: From: Rogelio Bernal Andreo <rba@deepskycolors.com> Subject: Re: [SBIG] Re: 103P/Hartley 2 To: SBIG@yahoogroups.com Date: Friday, October 1, 2010, 5:03 PM > http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/103PHARTLEY20101001.GIF

Now that was nice! Thanks for posting! Steve, "clear skies" would be "cielos despejados" but we usually just wish each other "buenos cielos" which literally means "good skies" :-) Cheers, Rogelio __._,_.___ Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post | Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (8) Recent Activity: New Members 6 New Files 2 Visit Your Group MARKETPLACE Stay on top of your group activity without leaving the page you're on - Get the Yahoo! I would like to recommend three of my favorite discussion groups. These are on Yahoo and they are consistantly on topic and well moderated. Comets-ml: a parent group with lively discussion and world wide membership of pros and amateurs, including a guy working towards a lifetime list of 500 observed comets. These guys are hard core. cometobs: a spinoff group that just lists current visual and ccd observations of comets. A guy in Spain routinely pulls in 5 comets with an 8 inch SCT and a guy in Brazil who works with binoculars. These seemingly dry datapoints are presented in a format that can be read by computer programs that plot the brightness curves over many months. Comet-images: another spinoff for people with CCD and DSL cameras. It' s almost entirely posted images and coments on them. DT --- On Fri, 10/1/10, Joe Bauman <josephmbauman@yahoo.com> wrote:
