RE: [Utah-astronomy] Gravel Pit This Weekend
Hi Don. I'm thinking about Friday, but I probably won't know for sure until Thursday PM. -----Original Message----- From: "Don J. Moon rise on Friday is about midnight and on Saturday (Sunday morning) is 12:19 AM. We would probably get two good hours each night. Weather.com forecast for both nights for Park City is clear. Wish we could make it this weekend. I wondered who all was planning on going to Wolf Creek on the New Moon weekend which would be August 13th, 14th, 15th. I know some of you mentioned going then at Slastrofest. Thanks! Lisa Zeigler www.johnstelescopes.com www.mirrorkits.com

Weather permitting I will probably go at least one night (13th or 14th) to Wolf Creek. Also Kim Hyatt and I were talking about going Wednesday, August 11, for the Perseid meteor shower; the peak is at 5 am Thursday morning.
