Nova Science Now - Lighting caused by cosmic rays from space?
Similar ET particles may have triggered mutation in early life that eventually evolved into us (except for Chris Buttars, whom has shown that he is not evolved at all). But if you think about it, the whole solar system formed from the flotsam and jetsam of prior generations of stars. Truly there are no "closed systems". And it reminds me of "the photon connection"- actual particles (or wave fronts, "physical phenomenon", if you like) from the objects we see in the telescope triggering neurons in our brains via the optic channel. You're right, it's cool.
Cool, if it's right - dying stars triggering lightning on the Earth millions of years later.
