Charlie Green, Patrick and myself did a star party at Cedar Breaks. I think the overlooks generally have at least partially obstructed horizons. The star party was done near the highest point of the park, above the tree line. Yes good observing, unless your scope shakes in a breeze, but only the summer months and early fall. 4WD recommended to get to the peak.
