Hi all. I have been pretty busy of late and have not been doing much astrophotography, but I just purchased a new Lumenera Infinity 2-1M camera and decided to try it out. I just added two new lunar images to my gallery. I think I am going to like the camera.. a lot!! It is a low noise camera that provides very smooth images. The first image is of Atlas, Hercules, and Endymion. The link to the small version is: http://www.utahastronomy.com/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album17 <http://www.utahastronomy.com/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album17&id=Utah_A stronomy_Atlas> &id=Utah_Astronomy_Atlas The second image is of Eratosthenes, Mons Wolff, and the Stadius Crater Chain: http://www.utahastronomy.com/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album17 <http://www.utahastronomy.com/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album17&id=Utah_A stronomy_Eratosthenes> &id=Utah_Astronomy_Eratosthenes Click the small images for a larger version. Cheers, Tyler
Beautiful images as usual -- quite the new camera. Saturn is spectacular, as are some of those lunar details. Looking forward to more! Hope you can find time for some dark-sky time in the coming weeks... ;o) --- Tyler Allred <tylerallred@earthlink.net> wrote:
