(Formerly DBA Lewis Rock Shop) I have discussed meteorites with the owner in the past, he and his daughter have always been very helpful. While he may be able to positively ID the specimen as a meteorite, he may not be able to classify it as to type, but it's certainly worth a call. Chuck --- Kim Hyatt <khyatt@smithlayton.com> wrote:
I have been contacted by a someone who has a rock he believes to be a meteorite. From his description, it certainly sounds genuine. Does anyone out there know of a local (i.e. northern Utah) expert who is qualified to identify meteorites, types, and so forth?
