Salt Lake WHAT Society? :)
So many media requests today that I'm starting to looking forward to the eclipse being over. Ok, not really. I'm sure we're all used to being referred to astrologers. But a misquote today had me laughing aloud. The text of an eclipse related interview I did for CNN has been circulating around the web and one I just found referred to me being with the Salt Lake Cosmetology Society. LOL! So I guess the public is going to start expecting us to style their hair as we're casting their horoscopes. 2 days and 2 minutes to annularity, patrick Sent from my iPad
Oops, make that 3 days to angularity. But then everyone here probably already knows that... patrick Sent from my iPad On May 17, 2012, at 18:29, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> wrote:

Isn't it at 7:30 rather than at 6:30? Hi Spencer et al, The "generic" time for Utah that I've been giving out for 1st contact is "around 6:30". Many here will know 1st contact in Utah will be a bit before that but since most folks will be using those "1x" eclipse glasses I'm guessing they wont actually see anything until a few minutes past 1st contact. But for those who like exacts I've come up with a PDF containing precise times for various places around Utah based on data taken from this NASA map, http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEgoogle/SEgoogle2001/SE2012May20Agoogle.html and converted to MDT: http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/annulartimes.pdf Clear skies! patrick On 17 May 2012, at 18:42, Spencer Ball wrote:
