Brent, Have you looked through a D & G refractor? I went to their website last night and was drooling over the 6" f/12 refractor. Would the f/12 focal ratio be fairly color corrected? These telescopes are actually affordable. Deb
Deb, I have not looked through the D&G refractors, but I'd like to. The reason doublets are long is to minimize color problems. The standard f ratio is f15. f12 will not work as well, but should give great images. Brent --- UTAHDEB@aol.com wrote:
