Photos of Noctilucent clouds over SLC coming
Hi Chuck Hi Chuck We are packing for Bryce, so I’ll work on editing the photos, and then put them up on my photography portfolio site with a link just to the cloud photos. Should be hopefully finished before we leave tomorrow am. Thanks for your offer!! Question re: solar viewing If the coronal hole (southern central location) isn’t visible on my small solar scope is that b/c it is facing earth? I couldn’t make it out yesterday. Thanks Best, Shoshana BTW Space Weather has a gallery of N. cloud photos from all over the world. &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& Unfortunately the list doesn't support attachments and pics. But you were looking at the same display, Shoshana. It would have been in the same location for Joe. Ron, probably more overhead to due west from your location.
Hi Shoshana, Sorry for the delay, Kelly had surgery last Wednesday and I've just had my hands full. Only your first message got held-up by the system, your latest ones came through. It usually doesn't mail you back a copy of your own message. Now, as I understand it, the coronal hole is a feature of the corona, so is only visible during a total eclipse. You can't see the corona in H-a scopes. I heard from another list member who caught the clouds this morning. I had to pick up my step daughter from the airport at 2:00 AM, she's a schoolteacher from Tampa and came to help out with her mom's recovery for a couple of weeks. So I slept past the critical morning viewing window. Have fun at Bryce, Chuck On Tue, Jun 25, 2019 at 3:06 PM Sue Ellen Ebertz <ebertzs@comcast.net> wrote:
