The last time I was there the wind was no problem. Seems to me there would be more wind at a higher elevation, anyway. You think? So, from your comments, Joe, and Rob Taylor, and Jo & Allen, I'm thinking we could have a nice little group. Anyone else up for it?! Mike Bailey
Given a choice, I prefer to be in an area that has toilets. I am assuming there are not any amenities in the place down in the canyon. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. For those who can't go far, SLAS will be holding Messier Marathons this Friday and Saturday and next Friday and Saturday at SPOC (good chance to catch a bunch o' photons with the Big Scope). These events are not open to the public but members of any astronomy club are welcome. Patrick
