I was hoping to image a globular cluster last night but I couldn't get a decent polar alignment. I turned the scope to the moon hoping to get at least one picture for my effort. The best picture turned out to be the Auto Exposure mode. It took a 1/50th of a second shot with an ISO of 100. I played with the Brightness and Contrast sliders in Images Plus to come up with this photo. http://www.utahastronomy.com/astrodeb/BrightMoon Enjoy! Debbie

Deb, good shot of a post-full Moon nicely showing - 1) near the north, crater Endymion 2) the western wall of Mare Crisium, and 3) toward the middle, crater Langrenus in Mare Fecunditatis. 4) the ejecta ray that cuts Mare Serenitatis in half. Gotta love that shallow sky. - Canopus56(Kurt) ____________________________________________________ Start your day with Yahoo! - make it your home page http://www.yahoo.com/r/hs
