P.S. - Patrick, any indication in the specialty mailing lists how big of a rock this is? Is a pebble, a boulder, a house, a mountain? What's the mass? - Kurt _______________________________________________ Sent via CSolutions - http://www.csolutions.net

Nothing on the list but I did find a reference on the European Asteroid Research Node's website estimating 40 to 90 meters. Imagine what a nickel-iron asteroid of that size would do if it hit Mars doing WD5's estimated 50,000 km/hr. Ouch! patrick
