Marriott Library Digital Collections Astronomy Related Calendar
The Marriott Library Digital Collections office is selling an astronomy related 2009 calendar consisting of prints from the 1661 Harmonia Macrocosmica charts: Go to the Marriott Library Homepage at: http://www.lib.utah.edu/portal/site/marriottlibrary/ and select the "Purchase a digital collections calendar option" in the upper right hand corner. I'm skipping astro-themed calendars in '09, in favor of the Bettie Page calendar. Although she certainly did have a "heavenly body" in her day!

Joe, a friend of our family recently passed-away, he was a 93-year-old WW2 vet. Once, when he was in the hospital, I brought him a deck of playing cards that featured photos of Bettie Page on the backs. I've never seen his eyes light up quite as much as when he saw those cards.
