Any list members notice a degradation in their eyesight once they started using a computer regularly?
If you have been using one regularly for more than 10 years, please do not reply.
This is really OT, so reply off-list if you have a tale to tell me, or can cite reliable published research.
Thanks

Chuck, All this time you just assumed it was the cigarette smoke clouding your view. Now that the smoke is gone, your view is still clouded, eh? ;o) I know this is OT, but it's common knowledge that long term computer use degrades eyesight. I even have a pair of glasses made especially for computer use; the focus is out to the end of my arms (much better than reading glasses). It has saved my life at work, since I sit at one of these dumb things all day long. My eyesight started to go south about age 30, but I'd been using a computer for about 7 years by then. However, I still manage to observe pretty well without glasses at the eyepiece, especially with my left eye (less astigmatism). There, I brought it back On topic!
