Maybe during next week's comet watch, once PanSTARS has set and it gets nice and dark we can try using the Grim to spot ISON.
In the mean time, here's ISON tonight:

Actually, it looks like at least two galaxies. From: Joe Bauman <josephmbauman@yahoo.com> To: utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Tuesday, March 5, 2013 11:31 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] ISON tonight, 2013 MAR 06 You caught a galaxy too. NICE.
Yes, you're right, an edge-on and a fainter face-on. ________________________________ From: Brent Watson <brentjwatson@yahoo.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 6, 2013 7:40 AM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] ISON tonight, 2013 MAR 06 Actually, it looks like at least two galaxies. I'll bet you dollars to navy beans that many of those faintest objects registering are galaxies, themselves. Patrick should shoot his own deep-field one day (several days, lol). On Wed, Mar 6, 2013 at 8:05 AM, Joe Bauman <josephmbauman@yahoo.com> wrote:

Actually on those nights when I'm between projects I sometimes just pick a series of 9 spots in the sky and image them repeatedly for a while and then assemble them just to see what I might have found (that's how I made a couple of my minor planet finds). It really is neat to just sit and look at those images, especially the ones with tiny little galaxies wondering what (who) might be out there. patrick Sent from my iPad On Mar 6, 2013, at 9:25, Chuck Hards <chuck.hards@gmail.com> wrote:
