Russ, Your welcome anytime. We usually stay out until between 11:00p.m. and 1:00a.m. We left tonight around 11:35p.m. as we had seen much and it had been a great night and we finally were getting a taste of frost (not much though). If the weather is good next new moon we'll be heading back out and I can honestly say, we didn't get too cold tonight and the heaters sure helped. I also learned the cheapest dew shield for a finder scope and a Telrad today and tried it out tonight and it worked wonderfully. On 2011-12-26 22:31, Russ Klvacek wrote:
How late do you guys usually stay out? I may join you later in the evening. I'm a newbie, never been out observing aside from a few sessions in my backyard.
