SETI gets intelligence signal from a Kepler discovered planet!
Well, they did and they didn't. As soon as the moved the Green Bank Radio Telescope the signals were still there so that informed them that the signal was from a satellite in orbit in space. Here is the link if you want to read the fun people have had with this of late. http://seti.berkeley.edu/kepler-seti-interference It would be rather cool if we did find a planet in a habitable zone of a star or red dwarf and then found a signal coming from the planet. Contact anyone? Good movie, great book. Still miss the author. -- Jay Eads

My son's 2nd grade class is learning about astronomy this week. My wife volunteered my time to do a star party this Wednesday 1/11 at 6:45 for about 30 kids. I have a couple of scopes for viewing, but if you would like to join me it would be appreciated. My son goes to the Early Light Academy on the west side of Daybreak: 11709 S. Vadania Drive South Jordan, UT 84095 This is not a club activity, but if you are brave enough to endure the cold please let me know. (801) 232-7203 Thanks, Ken
