Hey Tyler! Yeah, It was back in 2004 the last time I saw Omega Centauri from the pit-n-Pole myself. Seems like from my position looking south there was a “V” in the mountains where it either came up or went down in and  just barely cleared the sky line there south of Vernon.   I would like to see it again.  Not going to happen today though.   Jim
